Approach
Dr Toyin-Ann’s approach is rooted in the belief that the built environment should perform as well for people as it does technically. She combines high-performance, resilient design with architecture that is elegant, durable and enduring.
Sustainability is integral to her approach, not an addition to it. Drawing on regenerative and participatory design principles, she considers how materials, energy, environmental performance and the experience of space can create buildings that respond intelligently to people and place.
This systems-based philosophy extends to leadership. Just as building performance is shaped by interconnected decisions, organisational outcomes are shaped by leadership behaviours, values, culture and governance. Her work explores how regenerative and sustainable leadership can create the conditions for enduring performance and responsible stewardship.
Credentials
Toyin-Ann holds a PhD in Sustainable Leadership, with research examining the attributes and behaviours that enable leaders to deliver durable, regenerative impact at scale in the built environment. She holds a Master of Architecture in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from UEL, London; an MBA with Distinction from the University of Northampton; and a Master’s in Computer Science & Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes, France. She has also undertaken executive education in Sustainability Management at the University of Cambridge.
Her multidisciplinary background has shaped a career spanning architecture, sustainable design, construction, technology and executive leadership. She has successfully led complex, high-value projects as Project Director and Design Lead, with international experience across Europe, North America, West Africa and Asia. Fluent in English and French, she brings both technical and strategic perspectives to the built environment and organisational leadership.

Toyin-Ann maintains active engagement with professional and industry organisations across sustainable construction, architecture, real estate and the built environment. Her affiliations include the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Passivhaus Trust UK and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), reflecting her longstanding commitment to advancing high-performance, sustainable and resilient built environments.
Her wider professional interests encompass regenerative design, neuro-architecture, sustainable leadership and the relationship between the built environment and human wellbeing.
